To celebrate Geico's auto + travel insurance offering, VICE's Motherboard developed a custom show offering exploring the future of transportation. Personal flying machines, self-driving boats, DIY Rocketeers. Let's go!
Geico also partnered to launch VICE's millennial finance channel FREE.
Microsoft | Dear Future
Microsoft Surface partnered with CBSi and vICE to co-produce Dear Future, the result was an ambitious documentary series exploring the most transformative innovations of our time.
Dear Future won the 2018 Webby for Best Tech/Science Documentary series.
Toyota | Multiple Projects
5+ projects with Toyota including partnerships with David Choe's Thumbs Up, web series Sound Builders and VICE awards show Humans of the Year.
Hennessy | The Rap Monument
To produce the most effective campaign in Hennessy's history we brought together 1 Producer and 33 MCs in 3 studios in ATL, NYC, and LA to build the world's longest audiovisual rap track.
Mondelez | The Great Swedish Fish Investigation
Mondelez noticed a curious Reddit phenomenon among IT workers. They were sharing Swedish Fish with each other to expedite work. If a hard drive needed to be fixed out-of-house and a bag of Swedish Fish was sent with it, the job was done twice as fast., Something about gifting was really working. Motherboard got to the bottom of it.
Ubisoft | Phreaked Out
To ramp up sales for Ubisoft's hit hacker release Watch Dogs, Motherboard produced a new series explorinng the relationship between hacking and The Internet of Things.
Bacardi | Cuban Independence Day
To reinforce Bacardi's relationship with its home country, we threw a massive Cuban Independence Day party in Brooklyn. The event was hosted in the old Williamsburg Savings Bank and featured a star-studded roster of talent including Future. We also used the event to debut Future's new video.
Harley-Davidson | VICE
Harley-Davidson and VICE partnered to produce a year's worth of video content focused around motorcycle builders and riders. We traveled the globe from Baja to SoCal and from Grand Rapids to Yokohama going on adventures with the badass folks that make the scene what it is.
Samsung | Up Next
To launch VICE’s electronic music channel Thump, we produced a massive launch event with the help of Samsung: an interactive fireworks show on the Hudson River. While Zedd, Duke Dumont and Tokimonsta DJd guest could use Samsung devices to shoot fireworks into the sky. The pyrotechnics were bigger than we anticipated, We got fined by the city, it was worth it.
Dewar's White Label | Dewar's Debates
Dewar's and VICE came together to celebrate the great spirit of debate. The result was a two-year long national debating series featuring surprising combinations, and a range of custom print and online executions, including a 32-page pocket sized Guide to Debating.
20th Century Fox | The Real Planet of the Apes
Inspired by The Real Planet of the Apes, VICE's documentary crews went in search of monkey island, a land mass off the coast of Liberia. The former hepatitis research facility was home to laboratory apes that had been marooned there since the 1980s. The work won a 2016 Clio Award.
Belvedere Vodka | The Music Video Project
Belvedere and VICE's Noisey came together to produce 3 videos combining unexpected talent. Belvedere then released iconoclast-style conversations between the artists. The work included Snoop Dogg, Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millipied, and Canadian DJ duo Zeds Dead.
